.Prowrestling is know for its large almost giant like men and women but before there was a Big show a Yokazuna or even an Andre the Giant there was Happy Humphrey (william Cobb) The largest prowrestler to ever step inside the squared circle.Happy was born in 1926 and died in 1989 he is buried in Aiken S.C. which happens to be the home town of another wrestler prowrestlings current largest superstar the Big Show Paul Wight who is employed by Vince Mcmahon jr.Happys first match was against a bear that he wrestled for 28min.Happy later worked for Vince Macmahon sr. taking on Vince's heavy weight Haystacks Calhoun at Madison Square Garden.Haystacks a 600pounder himself was giving up almost 200 lbs to Happy.The two super heavy weights would fued through out Happys run as a prowrestler Happy was givin a reinforced car and a personal driver by the name of Harley Race but With Happys weight starting to become a health issue and the shame of becoming stuck in a phone booth and movie theater seat Happy decided to finally retire.That wasnt the end of fame for this giant man his size would once again bring Happy fame as a Guiness book of world recods title holder for losing the most weight in the shortest time.Happy entered MCG hospital at 800lbs and walked out at 232lbs..later in life the giant would take up a job at a shoerepair shop in Augusta Ga, where he could be contacted by anyone interested in buying a pair of his giant pants for $50 bucks.later in life Happy would gain alot of his weight back ballooning up to 600lbs by the time of his death in 1989 at the age of 62. Happy Humphry as large a man as he was is but now a lost foot note in the world of Prowrestling
